Warranties in Japan

In addition to our Standard Warranty, our products can be covered by a Premium Warranty and a Designated Parts Warranty for reliable use for a long period of time.

Standard Warranty1 year
In case of failure due to our responsibility, we will bear the cost of parts, labor and inspection/calibration for repair.
Premium Warranty3 years
Leak testers with Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit are guaranteed for up to 3 years after delivery.
Designated Parts Warranty
5 years
If the product is covered by the Premium Warranty, the differential pressure sensor and air operated valves, which are the core components of the product, are guaranteed for up to 5 years after delivery.

  • LS-1881A Controller is also covered by the Premium Warranty.
  • The warranty covers repair work and inspection/calibration costs only in the case of DPS replacement and air operated valve replacement.

Products not covered by the Premium Warranty or Designated Parts Warranty

  • Custom-made leak testers
  • The following leak testers without Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit
    • Y-circuit
    • C-circuit (Secondary pressure method)
    • Combined with air flow detection
    • For extremely high pressure (exceeding 4.9 MPa)
    • For sealed works (Volume detection method)
    • Separate-type LS-R740 series
  • Consumables, accessories, externally installed items such as Temperature Compensation Unit, pressure reducing valves, filters, etc.

Cases not covered by the Warranties

  • The warranty period has passed or the product does not have a nameplate indicating the serial number and date of manufacture.
  • The product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than us.
  • Failure due to use under unsuitable conditions or environment or improper handling as indicated in the product’s operation manual.
  • Failure due to contamination by water, oil, dust, etc. from the air source, work, or master. Failure caused by other reasons than the product itself.
  • Damage, trouble and malfunction of a unit, such as the machine or fixture, other than the product.
  • Damage caused by wear, deterioration, rust, mold, dirt, or discoloration during use, as well as cosmetic scratches that do not interfere with use, and cases where no symptoms appear.
  • Failure due to reasons that could not be foreseen by the level of science and technology at the time the product was shipped.

Overseas Warranty

2-year Warranty

Warranty service

The service covers our standard Air Leak Testers and Air Flow Testers.
Our overseas offices will repair free of charge for malfunctions for which we are responsible.

  • Only applies to products shipped in Japan.
  • The product to be repaired must be sent or brought to our local office by customer.
  • If on-site service is requested at a customer’s designated location, the customer will be responsible for our travel and accommodation expenses.
  • Regular product inspections and repairs not covered by the free warranty will be handled by our local offices for a fee.

2 years (24 months from date of shipment)

Products covered by the warranty

  • Standard leak testers (Intelligent Pneumatic Circuit, Y-circuit, C-circuit, LS-1881A Controller)
  • Flow testers (AF series)
  • Volume detection leak testers (* Excluding the following countries: Australia, Germany, and Brazil.)

Products NOT covered by the warranty

  • Leak testers for specific applications and special specifications, such as air flow detection, extremely high pressure, gauge pressure decay, and packaging.
  • Products (DP gauges, digital manometers, digital flow meters, etc.) other than leak testers and flow testers

Cases Not Covered by Warranty

  • The warranty period has passed or the product does not have a nameplate indicating the serial number and date of manufacture.

Support Registration

Services

  • Register product information at our office in the county where the product is used.
    For Air Leak Testers and Air Flow Testers, our expert staff will check the condition of your facility/equipment and provide the information to the local office.
  • Inspection Record can be changed to the one in English. (Only upon request)
  • A parameter sheet will be included. (Only upon request)

Supervising Services

Services

To ensure that our overseas customers can use our instruments in best possible conditions, our staff at our overseas offices will provide training and check the instruments.

  • The Supervising Services is applicable for the products covered by the “2-year Warranty” and “Support Registration”.
Guidance on the mechanism and operation of the measuring instruments
We will give the guidance on the mechanism of differential pressure leak test and flow test. We will also provide training on the basic operations to use the purchased measuring instruments correctly.
Guidance on maintenance of measuring instruments
We will give guidance on daily and periodic inspections to ensure that measuring instruments are always maintained in good condition.
Check on the test environment
We will check the operation and settings of individual measuring instruments, check the installation environment of the machine and equipment, and provide advice to the extent possible.
